Community Groups 2020

by Ocean Babin on January 06, 2020

Hello Everyone,

We are one week in the year 2020 and we at White FIelds are excited about the new series Vision Pastor NIck has started this past Sunday and our Community Group sign ups have started.

Community Groups will begin next Sunday and run for 10 weeks. It is not too late to join one.

Here is a word from Shelby Lawson our Operations Director about our vision for Community Groups.

At White Fields Community Church, our vision is to build and foster a passionate, engaged, and spiritually healthy Christian community to influence and bless Longmont and beyond.

Our mission as a church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ through teaching the Word of God, engaging in the mission of God, and raising up leaders.

We believe that one of the most effective ways to achieve both our vision and our mission is through Community Groups. Joining a sermon based Community Group allows participants to dig deeper into God's word while forming meaningful and lasting relationships with fellow believers. Community Groups have been established with the chief aim of making disciples in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The primary focus of Community Groups is for the maturing of the saints through the study of God’s Word, prayer and fellowship, in an intimate and comfortable setting.

The purpose of Community Groups is to help the church body grow in their faith through building community, pursuing intentional growth, reaching the unchurched, and serving like Jesus.

We invite all people who have an interest in growing and fellowshipping with other believers to join a Community Group.

The groups meet once weekly for a ten week session and there are three sessions per year. The next session begins on Sunday, January 12, 2020, and there will be groups in most areas within Longmont and the surrounding communities on multiple nights of the week. We will have sign up sheets available at church on Sunday or you can write
