New Series: Remember the Prophets

Hello Everyone,

We hope the New Year finds you well and ready for 2019.

On Sunday, January 6, 2019, we will begin a new teaching series called “Remember the Prophets”.

In the Bible, James 5:10 tells us to “remember the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. Take them as examples of patient endurance under suffering.”

In this series, we will be looking at a different Old Testament prophet each week, both at their lives and their messages, in considering what we can learn from them for our lives today.

If you have never read about the prophets, then you are in for a real treat. These stories rival any book you want to put against it. There is love, romance, insults, judgments, and hope.

Join us for this intriguing study!

Year End Giving Deadline

Hello and Happy Christmas,

As the year draws to a close and we celebrate the coming of our Lord and prepare for the New Year, many people ask about year-end gifts to the church. As an elder and treasurer of White Fields, I would like to help answer some common questions.

Every dollar given to the church goes to serve our mission of building a passionate, engaged and spiritually healthy Christian community to bless Longmont and beyond. Your financial donations fund our work of making disciples of Jesus Christ by teaching the Word of God and engaging in the mission of God.

2018 Charitable Gifts
Your gift to White Fields Community Church will be tax deductible for 2018 if it is received by Monday, December 31, 2018. If mailing a check to White Fields, the envelope needs to be postmarked by the post office on or before Monday, December 31 in order to count for the 2018 tax year. You may donate by check through the mail, or you can donate online with a credit card or electronic check (ACH) at http://whitefieldschurch.com/give/

All contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Tax law changes may affect charitable giving decisions, and this article summarizes these changes. We will be mailing contribution reports in January to aid in documenting and reporting individual gifts for 2018. We do not have a formal offering during service, and we invite our members to tithe and give as you feel led.

Feel free to contact us by phone or email to answer any additional questions.
