There are some great things coming up in the near future at White Fields. Here’s a quick update of a few things we’re working on:
Marriage Retreat – March 7-8, 2014
At White Fields we care about marriage and we believe that great marriages need to be cultivated. Last year’s retreat was great, and we expect this year’s retreat to be even better.
We encourage all the couples in the church to come. If you can, try to come for the overnight getaway option – but if you can’t, definitely still join us on Saturday. We will be providing child care on Saturday.
We will be announcing prices and location soon, but the dates and the speakers are fixed. We had such a good response about Tommy and Debi Schneider from our Date Night event, that we are going to have them come back to teach at the Marriage Retreat. They will be teaching different material than what they did before or what we had at last year’s retreat – rich stuff that will be helpful for all.
Save the dates and we hope you will join us!
If you know anyone who might benefit from this, it is open to anyone. Feel free to invite friends or family!
Mission Trip to Hungary – July 11-22, 2014
God’s mission to seek and to save the lost is part of the DNA of who we are called to be as Christians, and who we as a church strive to be. For years White Fields has been sending teams on summer mission trips to Hungary to work with Golgota Eger, the church which we planted in Eger, Hungary, in an English Camp outreach they do for youth in the area. We will likely also be doing some outreach to the gypsy community in the city of Heves, where Golgota Eger has a church plant.
English Camp has been a very fruitful outreach tool over the years, and we have seen many kids come to know the Lord through it and plugged into the local church there.
Pray about joining us this year for the mission trip. Adults and youth are welcome to sign up any time from now on. We will begin fundraising and planning starting even in the next few weeks.
We’re excited about these things that are in the works, and hope that God will use them greatly for His glory!
