Project Greatest Gift 2021

Project Greatest Gift 2021

by Christine Appel on November 06, 2021

This Sunday, November 7, is the first day of Project greatest Gift 2021! We are partnering again with both Weld and Adams counties and have 200 kids from 112 families.  Some of these kids are in foster homes, but most are kinship placements.  A kinship placement is when children are placed usually with a member of their extended family (grandparents, aunts and uncles, etc), but sometimes with a person who is significant to the child and not related (neighbor, friend, etc). Whatever the relation, caring for additional children means major change and adjustments for all involved. If ever there was a time to step in and help these children and families with prayer, needed items, gifts to celebrate at Christmastime and the gospel message of salvation through Jesus Christ, this is it!!

If you would like to take part in all God is doing through Project Greatest Gift, plan to sign up after church this Sunday or anytime thereafter during the month of November. The project will be online again this year allowing anyone anywhere to participate by choosing a family to bless with gifts or through financial donation. For those attending in-person, we will have a sign-up area in the commons at church where we are available to help. Those not attending in-person or anyone wanting to participate may go to ProjectGreatest.Gift starting on November 7th and sign up there as well.

May God use Project Greatest Gift powerfully this year to bring smiles, lift burdens, meet needs, bless families and especially to draw these children and families to Jesus as their Savior -- the Greatest Gift of all!
